SO... Where have we been?
So many of you have asked: "Where have you been? Are there any more Adventure Runs planned?" The quick answers are: Yes, we're still here and there are no Adventure Runs planned for '10. We love the ADV RUN format and have gotten so much great feedback from a ton of great people -- we fully intend on bringing more events to PHX in the future -- the timing just wasn't working out well for '10.
We HAVE been doing some cool things though - right now we've got an invite-only run to raise money for The Prostate Cancer Foundation / Athletes For A Cure. Email us or follow on Facebook for more information. We are also still coaching athletes!

The Solo RunnerX category is now a (kick-butt) part of ADV RUN! Check out the Wikipedia Article!
Plan.
Study the course map, pick your route to all 5 marking stations & plan your race. It's up to you to choose what direction to go, and what order to collect the marks! Feel free to print out the map ( FINAL MAP POSTED) and bring it along! Want to use a GPS or smart phone? Go ahead!
Run.
Get out there and tear the course up! It's up to you how you want to tackle the course - run or walk!
Repeat.
Keep going until you get all 5 (or even more!) marks on your bib and head off to the finish line! There are marker signs, friendly volunteers and water on the course to keep you motivated all the way to the finish!
Bring a friend! (or 2)

What's an Adventure Run?
An Adventure Run is like "The Amazing Race" -- but without crazy stunts to perform! We'll provide the first 250 registrants with an ADV RUN VIP Lanyard with a color map of the course (around 5 miles), and then run, walk & scramble to all (5) checkpoints and collect a mark from each before returning to the finish line. Sounds easy, right? If the same 'ol 5k's have become boring, then this is the event for you! Learn more on our Events Page!

TRI PHX proudly supports our featured local charity, Hear For Kids™.
HEAR for Kids™ provides loaner hearing aids to children with newly identified hearing loss. Permanent hearing aids are also available to families with financial need. As a result of this program, 170 loaner hearing aids are presently available to families. Our goal at TRI PHX is to help them provide even more!
